Our Ultrafire range of powder fire extinguishers are suitable for use on class A fires involving solid materials, class B fires involving flammable liquids, class C fires involving flammable gases and fires involving electrical equipment. Powder fire extinguishers prevent the chemical process during the combustion process, providing rapid fire knock down. This 2kg powder extinguisher (2kg is the powder weight) has ratings of 13A, 70B and C. It is Kitemarked to BS EN3 and CE approved. It comes with a wall bracket and is backed by a 5 year warranty. The discharge time is over nine seconds with a range of throw of over 2 metres. Working pressure is 14 BAR. Dimensions (H x Dia) = 390 x 110mm. Please note: The use of powder fire extinguishers indoors is not recommended by BS 5306-8:2012 due to the mess powder creates and the potential impairment of vision and respiration it can cause.
