Correctly inflated tyres make your vehicle more fuel efficient – cutting down on your fuel costs and reducing carbon emissions. If every car in the UK had properly inflated tyres, it’d save 1 million tonnes of CO2 and around £440million of fuel a year.

Optimum grip on the road

Under-inflated tyres have higher rolling resistance – using more fuel and wearing out more quickly. Over-inflated tyres reduce traction and increase wear on the centre of the tyre. Correct inflation give the optimum surface area of the tyre in contact with the road, improving handling, helping tyres last longer and cutting fuel consumption.

Safe tyres means safer driving

27% of cars in the UK have at least one illegal tyre – that’s around 10 million vehicles. With 40% of traffic accidents that are caused by vehicle defects being tyre related, it’s crucial to make sure your tyres are properly inflated. An under- or over-inflated tyre reduces the manoeuvrability of your car, and can also mean your car fails the MOT.

Make tyre inflation simple

Accurate inflation is simple, with the quick set auto stop dial. Rotate to desired pressure, click, and then press large on/off button: the inflator will automatically stop at the set pressure. The large backlit digital screen shows readings clearly, and has progress bar to show how far through inflation it is. You can keep the valve cap safe during inflation in the storage compartment.

The cable winds up into the back of the inflator, making it easy to tidy it away with no trailing power cord. The airline folds neatly into the side of the unit, and the inflator comers with a storage case, to keep everything safely in the boot or garage, ready for when you need it.

Durable and flexible

The tough brass connector is resilient, making it ideal for frequent and repeated use, and you can make small reductions in pressure using the deflation valve.
